Over the years we have carried out specialist roofing projects in Devon, including the Woodlands Hotel in Sidmouth, Dartington Cider Press and Bovey Castle.

Bovey Castle is a Grade II listed mansion on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, near Moretonhampstead, Devon. The main building overlooks the river Bovey and was built in the Jacobean style in 1907. Extensions were built in the 1930s and the Great Hall was adapted in the 1980’s.

When working on castle, we re-roofed a section of the South elevation. This work consisted of stripping the existing stone slates and lead box gutters.  Rebuilding the gutters to comply with LSA recommendations.  We also supplied and fixed sand cast lead and new stone slates.
